We were at Ascott Makati from March 31 to April 1, 2012 for my husband’s summer company outing. Ascott Makati is located at Glorietta 4, Ayala Center, Makati City.

Ascott Makati has penthouses, studio rooms and one- to three-bedroom residences. We stayed in a studio room that has the following amenities: bedroom with linen, ensuite bathroom with towels & toiletries, fully-quipped kitchen, home entertainment system with cable TV and DVD player, washing machine & dryer, steam iron, telephone with IDD & voicemail facilities, Wireless Internet connectivity (WiFi) at a surcharge, and individually controlled air conditioning.

Prices of studio rooms at Ascott Makati vary. Regular rate is Php9420. This can go up to Php10656 when the hotel is full.

I liked that this place is so modern. Old-looking hotels scare me. Lol! I also enjoyed the soft and comfortable bed. I know for a fact that hotel beds are often made for comfort for the quality of stay of customers. This is something I’d like to replicate at home. I’m now seriously considering buying a mattress topper to increase the comfort level of our own bed.

My son’s favorite part of this hotel is their swimming pool. While my 5-year-old doesn’t know how to swim, he loves being in the water. See more of our swimming photos here.

They also serve delicious food at Café on the 6th in Ascott Makati. See my food blog post here.

If budget and time permit, we’d love to go back to Ascott Makati soon!
